This initially unassuming heatsink blew away the competition in our performance testing and astonished me with how secure and sturdy it felt after it was installed in our LGA 1366 test bench. The six U-shaped copper heatpipes and dual fin arrays worked better than advertised and the base was perfectly polished and milled. The weight and height of the Megahalem might be of some concern in certain PC setups, but most should be able to mount it and enjoy great CPU temps in the future.
